See through tyres!!!!!

These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon.

 

The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these tires.

 

This is what great R&D will do, and just think of the impact on existing technology:

 

A. no more air valves...

B. no more air compressors at gas stations... STRONG>

C. no more repair kits... ; ; ; ;

D. no more flats...

They've been in development ages if they ever get released they'll have to have sidewalls, could you imagine drivng through gravel at speed otherwise?

The pic of the Silver Audi was in Auto-Express about a year back. It was part of a few publicity shots to show off the new at the time Michelin Run Flat tyres. Obviously, with sidewalls they will look like any other tyre, so they removed them so everyone could see the tyres in action

Yea I have that issue somewhere....they'll probably be about 200 quid a tyre anyway
