i hate corsas nearly as much as novas and saxos. the only time i like them is when i get a free lift off my mate when hes not drinking and i am but even then i cant wait to get out :lol:

my hate for saxo's started when i was learning to drive, someone smashed up my instructors car (rover 25) and he got a corsa as a courtesy car, got in it, went to adjust the seat and instead of getting the forward and back lever, i got the height adjust one, headbutted the damned windscreen :banghead:

 

we have not got on since that point :evil:

I learnt to drive in a Corsa. Burnt a clutch out in one doing clutch control on a hill. I was not popular. I responded with..shouldn't have a crap car then. Then asked if I could chose what I drove. BSM used to have Mk1 Escorts years ago :wink:

 

Then got given a Corsa when my Capri got driven into. Had to keep putting things back together before I took it back. Bloody windows wouldn't stay up. Plastic around the gearknob kept popping out too. Wasn't even very economical. Cost me a fortune to drive around.

Ok so corsas might not be your (or my) cup of tea but I can remember the ribbing we used to give ppl how drove cortinas (esp mk4s & mk5s) and 4 door escorts that were scrapped by the hundred until a couple of years ago.
