Stole my thunder there mate....the worrying thing is I really like Marinas...and what makes this worse is that they were the pool cars when I was an apprentice, so I know how bad they are...but still want one!! :sad:

Mine was a total rust box, but I loved it...and boy did it pull the crumpet! I did just about everything in my Z, and I do mean EVERYTHING :wink:

read in practical classics the other day that there are only 4 of the chrysler ones left now!

 

Two of my teachers at school had Talbot Horizons and one was this colour.

My dad used to sell these things new. He had four big blokes come to look at one in the showroom once. They all jumped in at the same time and couldn't shut the doors. Had to get out and shut the doors one by one :lol::lol::lol: Bloody awful cars :roll: They were also the only car on the forecourt that none of the salesman wanted to take home.

my dad had a marina (the one with the split grill mk1's i think) and he had a work van one to :D

 

don't see many mk1 onions anymore, i had a 1985 1600 ghia 1 grandad owner from new once :D my mum killed it :( i was a pratt cos it was absolutly mint all i needed to do was put another engine in it :x deffo one of my regretts in life :sad: i will get another eventually :ykt::mrgreen:
