After spending nearly all day with a guy from work trying to sort a misfireout on my car, I thought it had gone and just as I was driving home from work it started again!

Going to give it half hour for me to cool down them doing back out, the great british weather isnt helping too much either!!

If it doesnt get sorted there will be a spare space, so watch this post!!

Cheers guys, I am well confused, just been out to the car after it sitting for an hour, drove it up the road and its fine!! I got a serious lack of power/misfire when it was warm. Just got it running now to get it warm then going to take it round the block again.

Any one any ideas? The guy today checked the points etc, got the dwell meter on it & the timing light. Took the plugs out & gave them a clean earlier. The car ticks over fine, not lumpy at all

classic symptoms of a duff coil or condenser, fine when cold and only starts to play up when gets warm...

Yeah i would have said condenser or coil....change them and see what happens
