Pye Man Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 See Midland are doing brand new 7x13s £350 a set
johnno11 Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Hope I'm not telling tales out of school but...I bought a set of Superlites from Midland wheels and the lacquer started to discolour and pitt within a few months( not used in winter!). When I brought this to their attention, let's just say, not nice people
Pye Man Posted July 5, 2007 Author Report Posted July 5, 2007 Careful mate. Sponsors of site, if you know what I mean
Admin Vista Posted July 5, 2007 Admin Report Posted July 5, 2007 Careful mate. Sponsors of site, if you know what I mean Actually sponsors or not if there's a genuine complaint they have a duty to put it right. In my opinion, sponsoring the site and therefore benefiting from the pluses it brings works both ways. If you sponsor the site to get the business it brings in, then you have to provide decent customer service when things go wrong too.
johnny_h Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Name and shame I say. We are all consumers looking out for each other.
Pye Man Posted July 5, 2007 Author Report Posted July 5, 2007 I know, I was just concerned that Johno may have said somthing offensive inadvertantly. Just being cautious. Ttly agree with you on that tho Vista.
fezza Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Got to agree with Vista and Johnny ,wouldnt mind hearing a bit more about the 4 spokes though anyone bought a set

kevmk2 Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 I had a set of minlite replicas from peter lloyd rallying a few years ago,and i think they came from midland wheels. When i had the tyres fitted they went to balance them and they had to have move weights than a gym put on them So i sent them back quick time and got a refund
Baz. Posted July 8, 2007 Report Posted July 8, 2007 i just ordered some 6x13 wheels from peter lloyd to match my 7x13, they sent me some crap from midland wheels, when i phoned them, very rude unhelpfull, wouldnt re fund, i had to pay to send them back and they sent me some others, there better but still not right! Be very carefull when dealing with them, the doris is a right snooty bit. Also i brought some EMPI replica wheels for a VW camper i had, the lacquer started commong of within a couple of months .
Rick Posted July 8, 2007 Report Posted July 8, 2007 i wouldnt judge a company by one complaint alone, it may be possible they had faulty stock somehow or a bad batch. but i believe they should have rectified that for you if that was the case. it all depends on how you complained

Thats exactly the attitude i got from them when i wanted to return them, some bloke in the background on the phone shouted and swearing at me so thats when i rang minilite and told them peter lloyd were selling fake minilite wheels but advertising them as genuine minlites, that soon got them in the shite
