hi, this is my car hubby lee_capri bought me, i am learning to drive and when i finaly do my test :oops::) , whitch is a long way of yet as only just had my first lesson :lol::lol: ,this will be my everyday car 8)

what motor is it 1.6 or 2.0

:lol: its a 2.l auto 76y on a p-reg got some test on it but got to sort the back wheel archs out one wants repaceing and make botom part of rear quater and two cills and front wing repair to make body-work good,its tested till nov07 :lol: fu*knos how it got through, it gos o.k though auto box works fine little slow for my self but ideal v8 poss in a year or two once shes got through her test,so its mainly body work as usal god i hate welding gets on my tits got to put new prop on thats in boot and have a play with the carb probley wants a service as dont tick over that well wen cold but on the plus side its only had 2 carefull owners on the book and 15 others who are not mentioned thats sums the granny up :thumbsup:

Like your motor mate :thumbsup: i have one of those been off the road 4 a long time tho cant find the time to do things mine is same colour v6 3000 any suggestions were i can get a carb for it :thumbsup:

no :( , lee taxing it this week :) , but he will drive it more than me :( , ive only had 2 driving lessons and still got to work more on my braking :lol: , i only got it wrong twice this time :lol: , plus it has no power stering so it might take a bit of getting used to :lol: , so it will be quite back roads till i get the hang of the car :lol::lol::lol::thumbsup:

Just sold a 2.0 Mk2 hate to think what they would have been like if ford ever decided to fit a 1.6 :shock: mine was slow enough :lol:

I think you could get them with a 1.6 in Europe!, at least the Mk2s I belive.

didnt no they done a 1.6 :o the wife 2.0l drive like armchair and is a very nice and relaxed ride still pulls a ton no trouble at all :thumbsup:

 

Just begining to think I made it up, but theres a magazine road test of one on german ebay for sale and I just found this pic that I had on my hardrive. Think they were very rare, like our 1.3 2 Door Mk5 Cortinas.
