Admin Mk2Jo Posted July 16, 2007 Admin Report Posted July 16, 2007 I know someone who is a little short arse and has a huge attitude problem ..... apparently according to various reports it is called Little Man Syndrome, Short Man Syndrome and also Napoleon's Syndrome (Napoleon was a short man). Do you know someone like this?? And do you believe the condition exists ?? Discuss ....
GT_Jim Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 i used to go to school with it but he was too far down to hear him
Smudger105e Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 My bro is the opposite, 6 footer, 20 stone, and he's a pussy cat.
Burns Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 My bro is the opposite, 6 footer, 20 stone, and he's a pussy i'll tell him you said that
Smudger105e Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 I'll whoop his ass, just like I used to. He is my little brother you know
V8ian Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Im sure there is somthing in it, I think its a self defence inbred from school, I have found the people who are funny are very often small people, fat people or a combination af each, and in the same breath they can be the most evil putdown merchasnts you have ever come accross.

YFKT Ian - all of what you have said there sums them up perfectly
Cookie Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Yes Plenty of them, Working as a bouncer I have worked with loads and loads of blokes with little man syndrome, some of them still make me chuckle now thinking about it , standing there like they have forgotten there wheel barrow and with the look of a bulldog on their face, giving eyes and acting the hero to everyone And then it all fades away after someone has just smacked them in the gob for being a cheeky little shite, goes one of 3 ways then. 1- never see them again after they realise they are actually not kingof the world 2- they chill out and show people a bit more respect and find they get a lot more respect back 3- stay the same and spend a lot of time getting in the back of ambulances
S2 Dee Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 LMS is real, I have several short in stature big in gob types to deal with. It must go back to their childhood. I just wind them up with constant references to the fact that they are last to know it is raining and it is such a shame that they can't go on the latest rollercoaster at thorpe park. I have to say though that there are several shorties at work who are really nice people.
Jeff HPE Motorsport Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 There the ones that pick fights with girls when they have been put in there place by proper men.. Jeff Harris..
Mustang Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 I was attending a course just recently and the security guard was telling Choppa Chris about the day he was working and a little man came in and security guard said " R Snow White 5th floor" said he doesnt know how he kept his job
mk1super Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 My line manager is for want of a better word a Midget, and yeah Jo he has the attitude of a little man he barks orders non stop and is a grumpy sod One day iam going to lunch him with a kick lol
Mrs O/H/C Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 THERE IS DEFINATLEY A SYNDROME CALLED "little man syndrome". USED TO WORK WITH SOME ( ESTATE AGENTS ) . GOOD LUCK PUTTING HIM IN HIS PLACE !!!!!!
BlueMerlin Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 I'm sure it does exsist, I've seen it far to many times. Extra agressive little men who seem to argue just because you are tall. I tend to just step over them
Wessie Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 everyone suffers from it through my eyes but yes, its always the short ones that start the trouble
over_head_cam Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 There the ones that pick fights with girls when they have been put in there place by proper men.. Jeff Harris.. That sounds about right Jeff. Just bullies mate
Daggle Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Well I for one haven't got a clue what you lot are talking about, being of around 6ft 2, I never suffer from this problem
BlueMerlin Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 You don't find that short people tend to be more lairy with you because you are tall?
Daggle Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 You don't find that short people tend to be more lairy with you because you are tall? Actually I was telling a little white lie, im more like 2ft 6 , I do find that people always complain about my collegues, soz they are the only ones that they spot in a pub fight, im normally hanging off someones neck in a head lock with my feet dangling a foot of the floor
sab6024 Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 When I worked for a SEAT dealer, the manager had LMS. He pulled me into the office one day to have another go about something and I told him to shove his job up his arse. I put up with loads of bullying from that t**t and so did the rest of the youngsters.
BlueMerlin Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Bet you were the one to start the fight too
over_head_cam Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Daggle Pub fight? Surely you mean 'Jolly mess around' BTW you're not 2'6", I've seen ya... 2'9"
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Talking about this with a mate the other day believe it or not He said the short ones always start the trouble, and are just plain annoying. I am little, but have never had an attitude problem, people seem to like me (They might just be saying that lol), and it is very rare that I will be nasty... in fact, never. There will be one person that will call me a liar here, but she can f*** off I am more of a quiet, shy, peacefull little bloke.... but it is the quiet ones you have to watch, not the short arsed angry cocks with a chip on their shoulder! Just give him a slap Jo.... seems like he is all mouth and no strides... like a lot of them
presleybeetrootboy Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 im little for my age BUT im more about avin a laugh, making the most of life ie:
surfingturnip Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 I know of quite a few people at school like that, cocky lower school gits. Never been like that myself as I'm 6ft3, rather broad and can look quite scary so people dont tend to start on me that often
