Just took the escort out for the first proper test after fitting twin 48s & new 4-1 manifold & single box system,sounds the tits & goes & really screams for more now. Done 20miles & cost me just over £20 in petrol

Got it booked in for a rolling road session next week so that might make a difference. I reckon it cost me the same in tyre rubber aswell though

Jesus melitas, that's about 4.5mpg! Definitely needs some setting up as that's about the right ball park for a 7 litre Bentley that weighs as much as an iceberg!

Yeah it pops back through the exhaust alot on over-run & it done that with my old 45s until they got set up,its a bit spluttery low down till it gets to 3500rpm then clears & goes like fook. But it is defo in need of setting up As for the quarter mile,cant wait to get back out there & see if it really has made a difference
