Jeff HPE Motorsport Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 For those of you that cant understand or see the graph properly cos it hasn`t come out as good as it is on th proper graph The last line on the far left, goes past the graph lines & up to the rule bar then follows it dead straight wanting to push above it but couldn`t because it was as far as the machine would allow it, peter at Sanspeed said that it was probably more than the 230 hp maybe another 2 or 3 hp cos the power didn`t dip once it had hit the line & just followed it until he switched off. Super_Shaun Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Top quality motor by the sounds of it, how often would something like that need a rebuild though?? i'd like to see a print out too. Bet thats some LAIRY cam it has. From what ive been told its also down to the amount of air the head will flow not always down to the cam.
Fiesta Steve Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 From what ive been told its also down to the amount of air the head will flow not always down to the cam. No one item makes a good engine. Every component is critical to its reliablitiy and horsepower. Plus, of course, the perfect assembly.

When Andy built his latest engine, it was cos he didn`t want to touch his stonking old engine, he has run that for 3 years & still running wild & don`t need a rebuild yet. Jeff Harris.
