H.P.E harry Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 My grandad took his car to the rollers today (sanspeed) to see how many more horses he could squeese out of his already ballisticly quick pinto. The first run resulted in a 210bhp outcome but the way it was jumping out of the rollers there just had to be more. Second run came in at the same so there was something not right, after ten minutes of fiddling about they realised that the throttle linkage was being ristricted to only three quarters full on. Problem solved, so back on for another run and just by looking at the graph you could see that it had improved majorly. 230bhp! Just makes the brighton speed trials even more exciting!
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 5, 2007 Admin Report Posted September 5, 2007 Superb Hope to see it run at Brighton

James HPE Motorsport Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Now thats some impressive power!!! Now you know why I was on the phone to him every five minutes when i was building my xflow and its the sort of knowledge that me and my dad are absorbing (my dad already has 20 times the knowledge I have but there are always new things to be learnt) so we can carry on the trend of knocking out rediculously quick motors with a HPE badge in the near future and for years to come!!!
