The roads are quite crap when I went there a few years back. You often find coaches overtaking something, which will in turn be over taken by something else (3 side by sitde).

 

There is a quite a bit of petty crime - handbag pinching etc.

 

Its cheap to buy and live there, the weathers nice and hot. and there are no chavs.

its hard trying to get car off a tiny island in the middle of the mediterranean!...plus im sure they have a lot of rules about exporting cars from malta which sucks.....
