Anyone know the part number for a mk1 rs2000 alternator?

im after a new alternator for my mk1 escort rs2000. Does it share the same one as another car model? where can i get one from? anyone know a part number?

would have thought any pinto powerd car would be ok like sierra cortina transit etc etc oh only thing i did find using a sierra one was it hit the bottom of the servo so i moded the bracket to suit

Delco remy DRA3830 or XL X933830,any good factors should be able to work with them.

Or just use a cossie alternator,same fitting. Just join the two red wires together,thats if it hasnt already been done.

70 Amp is probably a lot more than you need, but I would definitely fit something that's rated a little higher than the orginal 36 Amp ones. Mine came from a pinto equipped P100 and is just fine at 55 Amps
