tim Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 any motorfactor be able to get you a recon unit or try some where like H&H for a uprated 1
bomber1 Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 would have thought any pinto powerd car would be ok like sierra cortina transit etc etc oh only thing i did find using a sierra one was it hit the bottom of the servo so i moded the bracket to suit
LEONMEX Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Delco remy DRA3830 or XL X933830,any good factors should be able to work with them.
kevmk2 Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Or just use a cossie alternator, same fitting. Just join the two red wires together, thats if it hasnt already been done. Or a sierra ghia one which is 70amp
Admin Vista Posted September 7, 2007 Admin Report Posted September 7, 2007 Or just use a cossie alternator, same fitting. Just join the two red wires together, thats if it hasnt already been done. Or a jelly mould ghia one which is 70amp 70 Amp is probably a lot more than you need, but I would definitely fit something that's rated a little higher than the orginal 36 Amp ones. Mine came from a pinto equipped P100 and is just fine at 55 Amps
