after months of searching ive finally found a capri for 200 hundred quid yeh i know wot your thinkin gotta be crap but weve all gotta start somewhere but i like it not much needed to be done and it has a novelty air horn haha but just gonna have to knuckle down and get it sorted i wuld put a pic up but aint got a clue how to oh well thats my rambling on over[/img]

i know what you mean, my capri cost me £263 on ebay, found a fair few nasties with it, so expect to be buying yourself a welding kit and a lot of sheet steel! bought it when i was 17........im 19 now and its not tooooo far from being ready for paint, but ive been doing a lot of modifications to it that i didnt really need, bubble arches, roll cage, bonnet modification, custom exhaust etc etc etc, i too have a novelty air horn! got it given a few days ago, whats yours........dixie! gwaaaaan the dixie horns! :P

i was reading through a load of receipts and i dont think i need it welded cos it had new wings bonnet valance and more put on in 2005 but seein as the last owner caved the nearside front wing in and the valance i need to find new ones as wiv a new bumper

With those stripes that looks like a Ford limited edition model. Possibly a Cameo or Calypso model. (I think it's the latter) Probably quite rare now. I ain't a Capri anorack but my mates dad used to buy a new one every 2 or 3 years back in the day. A couple of em were ltd edition ones. I'm sure he had one o' those with the same stripes.
