Mr Sam Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 if its not to shoddy please leave it silver the stripes are so retro tastic would be a shame to loose them
iwanta1.6 Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Posted September 14, 2007 its actually a greeny silver and i just think it will look better in black
iron_mighty07 Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Cool Ride - I'm with Mr Sam - Keep the stripes they're just pure 80's retro!
Muggy Bonehead Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Bargain dude!! and the stripes must stay. I drove an escort van with a yellow stripe down each side for 6yrs. i suffered threats of all sorts if I removed them & I learned to love them.
Stu_B Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 I usually say if it's got wheels then matt black it... but I think that colour with those stripes looks spot on
Daveyboy20 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Looks like crystal green to me, same as my cortina
iwanta1.6 Posted September 17, 2007 Author Report Posted September 17, 2007 possibly im not sure im just having a few problems wiv it at the mo but its cool still pretty sure going black and losing the stripes sorry
Mick The Cabbie Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 With those stripes that looks like a Ford limited edition model. Possibly a Cameo or Calypso model. (I think it's the latter) Probably quite rare now. I ain't a Capri anorack but my mates dad used to buy a new one every 2 or 3 years back in the day. A couple of em were ltd edition ones. I'm sure he had one o' those with the same stripes.
