mk1super Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 He was one of the greats, we should all feel very lucky to have seen him in action either live or on telly.Wrc wasnt the same, and never will be without him and Burns. RIP Colin
jimbo Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Like everyone here, I feel the same. It's a shame to see a great man taken away before his time. But let's not forget the others lost in the crash, especially two boys of 5 & 6. That really saddens me to think of two lives that haven't even really got going, before they come to such a tragic end. Rest in peace all of you. My thoughts are with your families.
Mick The Cabbie Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 I found out from a mate this afternoon. I am both stunned and gutted. This is a tragic loss of a top bloke and a true sporting icon. I am told that he was the only ever British world rally campion! My thoughts and condolences are with those who are left behind. RIP Collin.
