Roo-ster Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 hey ho!, though id start a thread for my fiesta ghia, ive owned it since august 2006, i bought it from fleebay for a buy it now price of £150 with 90K on the clock, ive recently re-welded the driver side sill as some plank welded 2 metal strips over the rust holes both sides, the passenger sill i have yet to do. the sill being re-done by me... I only had satin black to spray the new sill piece with at the time, but it looked abit out of place against the ghey gray, so the rest of the lower half and bumpers/side trim were sprayed to match. then came the time for new wheels as pots were getting abit common and wanted the car to stand out abit bought a set of these for £40 from a mate, he say's they're from an orion, but ive had other people say they're Mk3 optional rims/escort Mk4 limited editions? anynone here know? ??? they're 14" 6J ET35 PCD 107 but still fit on my fezzy okay, anyway!.. got them home and started to referb them by hand, i went for the satin black and polished rim/face look, they turned out okay IMO The new tyres for them cam on monday, i went for 165/55/14's to stretch nicely over them for that euro style look, got them fitted and balanced for £30 up the garage the same day and they went STRAIGHT on the car! lol just to add the finishing touches i slammed it bitch by -75mm and added some centre caps to match the wheels. future plans are to plop a 1600 XR engine in it and to add a chin spoiler, a Mk1 boot spoiler and a RS roof tip spoiler, then work will start on interiour. just a few artistic/edits shots i took the other day opinions and advice welcome thanks elliot
Mr Sam Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 opinions and advice welcome thanks elliot get back on xrtwo ello mate, lovely as it is old skool ford doesnt tend to cater for the mk2's as in our eyes there not 'old skool ford' the mk1's are allowed as they were in production before 1980 came with 4 spokes and a kent engine so are a little more old skool do stick around if your into old ford motors though
