James do you know if Andy is going to be out? Has he run his new engine yet? It would be good to see him and the car.

 

no he wont be, the engine is sound, he has only run it that day when you were there, my first time at pod! Think it was the day you ran your 12.90!!! His car has gone into the paintshop for a full inside and out and even the underside me thinks! Giving it a proper srpuce up!!!

I see your point but it would be sacralige I think to strip it. Changing the wheels over's easy enough and it's never had bumpers since I finished it about 5 years ago.

My little sister went to her wedding with my dad driving it! How cool is that!

The car is still used regularly on the ro@d to iritate Sub's Mitsu's and not so long ago a Merc AMG. The owner of that was so peed he wouldn't even look at me.

Morley -Yes mate, he had me fookin about with a Vauxhall (spit ) head for a friend of his only last week!

 

He still has the Escy! I have spent hours and hours on a B E A utifull head for that too but the escy funds have dried up A real shame cos I recon it should go like the proverbial! Pinto Valves, monster ports mmmm yummy!

Flattered mate, , it looks lovely and to be honest it's one of the few cars I would have other than an OSF, however the Cortina has had so much life poured into it it's a keeper.

It's remenants of this years Brighton Speed Trials. It's a beam breaking timing strut required for that event. It has to be designated sizes from the floor up etc. I have just left it on there cos it looks a bit racey! Oh yes and I am too lazy, oh and I was busy tinkering to catch up with that nice James Harris.
