russ105e Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 This is my favourite OSF . Stunning looks and performance . Love it
sambo Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Every year i see this at the speed trials and every year, i go all "funny" when i see it. Same for me old man too. That spray job is gorgeous! Love everything about it, the interior, the engine wheels etc. mmmmmm Deffo one of my fav osf's
Delotus Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 That is one beatifull tina. Some cars are just a joy to look at and that's top of the list. Tim
Lotus-Eater Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 This is Mk1 perfection! Super quick, aggressive but classic looks and great colour. Ive drooled over this car many times at the Pod on the rare occasions its standing still and not hooning down the strip!
texr2000 Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Always been a fan of the car, my mate anit a big fan of OSF's more into his VW bugs etc but he saw this car and a few HPE escorts and angilas at brighton and Classic Ford Show made him want to come to more and more Ford meets.
Mr Sam Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 so what sort of spec and what power's the old pre-x'flow nockin out i can vouch its bloomin quick and looks the muts nuts in the metal
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 25, 2007 Author Admin Report Posted September 25, 2007 Another of Toby's :
Mr Sam Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/ ... NP0118.jpg same car ?
Toby Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 so whats the spec? Yes mate same car different pic! On this day I ran a 13.3 on street Yoko's 048s. When I got home I thought it sounded a bit rattly. On removing the rocker cover I found it had broken a valve spring and run that time. Rough spec. Pre-crossflow built on an L block. 3D machined head for perfect chamber replication accross the cylinders. RS200 BDT pistons (85.4mm) with the tops machined off to loose the bowls. Stroker Dug Kiddie crank. Arrow Rods. Race steel cam. Thin stem followers! 180 + Bhp (Sanspeeds rollers showed 201bhp but I think that reads a little high) Latest Rolling Road at Torque of the Devil Showed a more realistic 163hp (Flywheel) Tran X diff for strength with large shafts. Recently having broken so many pinto gear boxes I have made every cog in the box as straight cut gears from alloy tool steel. This meant I could choose my ratios. Whilst I was at it I made it a dog box.
