Check the link in my signature (The escortbrochure one) to see pics of the brochure.

Info taken from my copy:

"The Escort Linnet is the latest 'special' Ford. It started out life as a standard Escort Popular Plus, but as you can see, it's now distinctly different from any other Escort you've ever seen."

A stylish four door saloon in a range of bright, fashionable colours that are complimented by distinctive 2 colour bodyside stripes.

1300cc engine performance for good acceleration & sensible fuel economy.

Fully reclining front seats in Diamond fabric trim, comfortable & practical too!

A passenger door mirror & integral front seat head restraints for safer motoring.

Bodyside protection mouldings that protect the Escort Linnet from careless parkers, a practical & stylish sports steering wheel & a top quality push button radio.

Brochure shows a white car with full width black bumpers, round headlamps, Ghia style front seats & a 3 spoke RS/Sport steering wheel.

Comes with laminated windscreen, rear fog lamps, reversing lights, disc brakes & radial tyres.

End of the line special edition (similar to the Harrier).

There was also the Goldcrest & Elite versions

Goldcrests were 1300 & 1600L 4 doors & came with Ghia steels & side mouldings, GL bumpers (No over-riders), square headlamps & optional tobacco vinyl roof & tinted windows

They also featured 3 stripes down the sides below the Ghia side mouldings.

The Escort L 'Elite' & De Luxe 'Elite' featured similar stripes to the Linnet & also had the Ghia side mouldings.

The De Luxe 'Elite' featured Ghia steels, square headlamps & full width chrome bumpers, a push button radio, a centre consul & clock & luxury GL cloth seats!

The L 'Elite' featured Ghia steels, square headlamps, Ghia bumpers with overriders, GL doorcards & a vinyl roof.

Not sure if the 'Elite' was ever available as I've never seen of one other than in a very rare double sided brochure I have in my collection
