Admin Vista Posted October 13, 2007 Author Admin Report Posted October 13, 2007 vista u must have more money than sense uve got two awsome cars for the summer then ur going to drive a hairdressers car through the winter. wrong very wrong Fair point but the drawback is I can't leave either of them anywhere. I used the escort as a daily drive for most of last year and ended up having to buy the 406 as I found myself catching the bus whenever I was going somewhere that I considered unsafe to leave the escort/alfa They're great for going out and having immense fun in but the draw backs are that they have to be garaged overnight or are effectively uninsured. I can't do everyday things like shopping in town in either of them, (would you park one of them up and dissapear into Asda for an hour?) So, I want something that I can have fun in but still not have to worry excessively about getting them nicked, damaged, etc etc. Like the Saab and Audi suggestions two more that I hadn't considered. Gaz the BMW sounds nice, can you provide an auto trader link?
Guest MK1gaz Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 AutoTrader ad - Clicky It's in that section for £12,990 . I can't get a link to work to the actual advert though so you'll have to search through those . Here's a pic
texr2000 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Nissan 350Z?? the coupe looks hard as fook!! the convertable still looks pretty hard too i guess Drove a few 350z's and I quite like them, also they are quick and there not ANOTHER BMW or Porches..... We had customers changing the Nissan badges with the Jap 'Z' badge to get away from Nissan. Can’t say we really had any problems with them, tyres wear if driven hard and are quite expensive and some times Elec windows play up, other than that there normal Jap reliable…. The newer ones with the newer engine are nice….a few extra BHP is always good Only other one i like is the S2000 if you like the VETEC....
Admin Vista Posted October 14, 2007 Author Admin Report Posted October 14, 2007 BMW looks nice Gaz but why would you want a TV? Saab discounted for being front wheel drive. decisions decisions

Guest MK1gaz Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 BMW looks nice Gaz but why would you want a TV? Saab discounted for being front wheel drive. decisions decisions The T.V. is built into the sat nav screen . I was watching the F1 on it while stuck in a traffic jam on the M1 which was handy
Admin Vista Posted October 14, 2007 Author Admin Report Posted October 14, 2007 they are indeed vey nice looking mate, what's the depreciation like on them? I can't afford to buy one that drops like a stone so I'm trying to be ruled by my head as well as my heart on this one If i ws going purely with my heart, I think I'd probably end up with the V6 4WD version of the Brera, I think they're stunning
Guest pooface Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Honda CRX DOHC Vtec Or a Civic 1600 DOHC vtec Dont coment on them if you aint driven one! Nice and mellow when out of Vtec and a Raging nutter when on Vtec! Imports make 160bhp STANDARD and rev to 8500rpm
bmxdave Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 I remember staring into a car dealership, one of those fancy upmarket ones, and there was a line of cars. Right in the middle was a black Brera convertable V6. Apparently there was a lambo gallardo convertable, a 635csi and a ferrari 308 but i never noticed them cause i wanted the brera.

I'm with you there mate, they're stunning. Unfortunately they're still worth over £25k now and if they run true to past Alfa form will be worth a curly wurly and a can of diet coke in 4 years time Stunning though!
