johnny_h Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Me and Rustypup are upgrading our brakes to some wilwood jobbies and have worked out a deal with Rally Design, basically the more we order the cheaper they get. Normally this lot would cost £340 (which is already cheap) but if we buy 3 sets the price drops to £280! Who wants a set? This is what we are ordering: M16 Replacement Wilwood Powerlite 4-Pot (vented) This is the solid caliper with the mounting brackets and discs because there is no picture of the mounting brackets and discs on thier own. THE DISCS WE HAVE ORDERED ARE 2.8i CAPRI SIZE VENTED AND CROSS DRILLED NOT SOLID. The price includes a set of brake pads and delivery and VAT!
Rick Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 what happens if half thge members on osf order a set? id be interested if the price was super cheap
johnny_h Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 I don't think they would drop down much further in price mate after all 280 quid for a new set of ally 4 pots and vented drilled discs is fookin cheap allready but havin said that if 10 people ordered a set there would HAVE to be some sort of deal struck.
Rick Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 whens your ordering date? i can commit if i have the funds available, baragins always turn up when i skint
johnny_h Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 Gonna wait until the end of the Month. Payday for most people. When I get a definite number of people interested I'll call for the special dealing price.
PaulAshman Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Would all of this kit listed in the deal fit straight onto my mk2 estate? Any other bits needed? And would it be a great improvement to my stopping power from the standard kit I have on at the moment? Cheers.
johnny_h Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 what size discs do they run? Whatever size capri 2.8i discs are. I'll find out. If you can fit M16 CALIPERS to your legs then this kit will fit.
boXXer Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 i have these on my mk1. They are excellent brakes.
andy1980 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 i have these on my mk1. They are excellent brakes. I'm glad you've just said that as i have a set waiting to go on!
mossy Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 could we upgrade to 280 to go under 15's? or would that not be included in the deal?
geoffersmasher Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 anyone have an idea what would be need to be done to fit these to a standard mk1 cortina front disc set up, if it aint to much im in
johnny_h Posted November 7, 2007 Author Report Posted November 7, 2007 If you have any questions about what these brakes fit just phone rally design. I need to know who wants a set for definite. Not who would like a set.
johnny_h Posted November 7, 2007 Author Report Posted November 7, 2007 ill be interested in a year or so "Too late, too late" will be the cry when the man with the bargains has passed you by. If you got no money on you now, you'll be crying tears as big as October cabbages.
c1arke Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 am interested but i haven't the cash at the moment will do next sat and you defo shure they will fit on billy's and my dads mate said you need a bi-est pedal box????
johnny_h Posted November 7, 2007 Author Report Posted November 7, 2007 They will fit billies and you don't need a bias box.
Rick Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 biased box is just to adjust the braking on each end of the car mate.
