I love how the media blows things out of proportion....

....sigh. :roll:

So, i live next door to a train station. The car-park isn't big enough so people park on my tiny tiny little street. This annoys me greatly as it means that on a Friday the bin wagon can't get down there so they don't collect. It also means that my usual parking spot (as we have two cars and a one car driveway) get taken by some commuter.

So, i leaves a note on these cars...ahem...

"Please park elsewhere, this is a private street. You cars pose a hazard to the children who live here along with causing an inconvenience. We will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur"

...after all, it's only a matter of time before the bin-truck wallops a car.

Anyway, the note makes no difference and i remain angry..until tonight when i read the local paper. :lol:

Anyway, i'm going to make a run for the boarder....i should be safe there. :roll:

You bullying thug! :wink: I shall have to do the same to all the nurses from St Helier hospital who surround my truck in the early hours and leave me to take ten feckin minutes to get out of the space without taking the front off one of their bloody fiestas :sad:

nice one chris :mrgreen:

they've been on about the same in parts of bristol & are on about bringing in a scheme to charge people for parking on the steeet, per car. it's been on radio bristol on & off for the past fortnight or so as a big topic for the phone in's.

i said if they want to encourage people to park on driveways & use there garages why don't they give the people who DO that & DON'T park on the streets a reduction in council tax? :wink::roll::roll::roll:

Quite true that, aslong as theres no yellow lines etc they can park pretty much where they like..

BUT..

I understand that its an annoying thing.. like this for example..

The bloke who lives opposite me has a driveway just like us, and as we have 2 cars (mine and me mums) we have to park one car on the road, but the TW@T who lives opposite parks his car right bang outside our house evry day! and it makes me sick that he does this yet he has a driveway just like mine, and only one car!! :evil::evil:

Rant over :mrgreen::thumbsup:

Just park on his driveway if he insists on parking outside your house :thumbsup:

Funny you should say that i came home one night a bit pissed up :beer: and in the morning my mum told me i tried to push his car out of the way so i could put my car in his place :oops:

When that failed aparently i wanted to park my car on his drive :twisted:
