RFChris Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 ...no, really. It's actually a Taunus, it's bloody cool though!
Gareth Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 I like The Mk3 'Tina coupes are tasty too
bortaf Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 Only sold in Argentina check em out here http://www.clubtaunus.com.ar/ It seem every other bleeding country got all the decent cortinas SA got the XR6, Australia got the big 6 4.1, europe got 2 Dr Ghias and Mk3 coupes and Argentina got the Mk5 coupe how unfair is that!

bortaf Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 The only Mk5 one i know of outside Agentina is in holland, it was an es Spanish gov workers who bought it back when he left S america, there's a few Mk3 ones about and 1 at least in Ireland
oldbus Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 Nice one Chris, the MKIII ´s are quite commen over here in Germany, makes sense actually...if you´re going to restore one then you might as well do the Coupe. In fact i see more coupes than Estates.... We didn´t get the MKIV or MKV Coupe either, shame ...good looking car, wouldn´t be too difficult to build one from a MKIII!
petrolhead01 Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 retro cool, looks like a aston martin lagonda with a cortina front end!!!
bortaf Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 front ends are easy to swap In fact the taunus pannels line up better to the Mk4/5 shell than Mk3 cortina bits do My old 1971 Mk5 cortina P100 or as i used to call it the Paunus
mk1super Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 That slammed with a nice beefy V8 would rock
