The original Hummer (Designcode Ford Köln for the new Taunus 1964)

 

Useless information but better than a smack in the face with a wet hummer!! :D Hummer means Lobster in german by the way.....

 

Ford Taunus 17m und 20m (P5)

Built between: 1964-1967

Numbers builtl: 424.331 (Limousine 17m), 72.050 (Estates 17m), 20.574 (Vans 17m), 170.650 (Limousine 20m), 22.418 (Estates 20m), 19.000 (Hardtop Coupé)

Engine: 1,7 Liter V4 70 BHP (1,5 Liter 60 BHP) & 2 Liter V6 with 85 BHP LC or 90 BHP HC, watercooled

 

Germanys Cortina!!!

The 20M was the cheapest German 6 Cylinder in 1965 (7990DM)

 

Decent ones cost the same in Euros these days!

The 2 door pillarless coupe in well horney :mrgreen:

especialy the 2.6 version, a chap in a cortina club had one for a few years, absolutly stunning motor :thumbsup:

 

defo the pillarless is lovely :thumbsup:

 

not sure im quite so keen on the grill though :? very continental looking :lol:
