oldbus Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 The original Hummer (Designcode Ford Köln for the new Taunus 1964) Useless information but better than a smack in the face with a wet hummer!! Hummer means Lobster in german by the way..... Ford Taunus 17m und 20m (P5) Built between: 1964-1967 Numbers builtl: 424.331 (Limousine 17m), 72.050 (Estates 17m), 20.574 (Vans 17m), 170.650 (Limousine 20m), 22.418 (Estates 20m), 19.000 (Hardtop Coupé) Engine: 1,7 Liter V4 70 BHP (1,5 Liter 60 BHP) & 2 Liter V6 with 85 BHP LC or 90 BHP HC, watercooled Germanys Cortina!!! Loosly based on its predecessor the 17M P3! The 20M was the cheapest German 6 Cylinder in 1965 (7990DM) Decent ones cost the same in Euros these days!
