sab6024 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 I have to be honest...I hate Xmas but I have to work anyway so it doesn't really like Xmas. The only good thing to come of it is the pressies and my mum is cooking for us this year. We normally go to a Hotel on Xmas Day because I have to work and it'll be such a rush to get everything done otherwise Roll on January when everything can go back to normal and there aren't so many queues in the shops

Durham Fiesta Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 i hate having to do xmas shopping cos haven't a fooking clue what to buy people. Just sepnd 130 quid on a pair of horse riding boots for our lass this morning, haven't a clue what else to get we usually go to my grans for a bit of a family lunch then just chill out the rest of the day
Mr Sam Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 its all got way too comercial and weve forgotten what its all about, about the life of jesus and what joy he brought to the world i hate it all a big fuss for 1 day and have to speaned it with people you dont want to be with and see people you only see once a year and pretend you actually like them and are interessted what theyeve been upto this past year
bigglesmk2 Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 I agree with Mr Sam,its got way too commercial! The shops fill up with cheap christmas tat. You have to vist ppl you dont even like have them round and cook them something nice too,buy lots of junk wrap it up and give it to some ungreatfull brat who will break it straight away. Its wastefull time of year, the amount of last years toys i see thrown away (im a binman) and then afew weeks l8tr some of toys they only just got are in the bin. Some children in certern countrys dont even have running water, food in their bellys clothes on their back and here we are throwing it all away Im not a scrooge but ppl are missing what christmas is all about
Slik 50 Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 I love christmas! I love spoiling the kids and wife, I dont tend to do much during the year so its nice to blow out a spend a few quid on them all. But I love the whole deal, The presents, The food, The family, The beer I think chritmas is great
