radar tech Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 Hi, my name is dave ketley and i have a 1973 mk1 escort.Paid £100 for the car last year when i loved in Cyprus where i did the bulk of the restoratin. Have brought it back to blighty now though . Origionally an 1100L but now running 1300 gt spec engine, looking for a 1600 xflow to rebuild and slam in for even more fun. Had it resprayed in white with blue RS2000 decs on it (not bad for a bottle of Jack Daniels!). She may not be a true RS but i like it. A slideshow of my restoration is on U tube search for dave ketley mk1 escort. Got so many questions about tuning and on a tight budget etc etc but they will come in time when funds allow.
