xpackken Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 hey guys sorry ive not been in touch wiv you lot for a while been very busy wiv car and new baby . anyways ive recived alot of messages and emails lately off members asking whats happened to the wirral meet . well its not over it just died out abit last year towards the end after such a good begining to the event in all honesty it was dissapoiniting . AND THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT DID SHOW UP . so to keep it going throuout the year just keep turning up guys . I have also been planing a few things to spuce things up . i will print some information that will be given to you at each meet regarding up coming things that will be going on . just a taster off whats to come .not sure off dates yet . rolling road day . 25 places available maybe more . trip to blackool fords on the prom convoy . trips over to manchester classic ford clubs thursday night meets . ford fair camping and convoy classicford santa pod convoy . also a few late night meets are to be arranged including bbq and camping in wales . below are details of the next meet . plenty of notice . please drop me a pm to confirm your attendance . also iv heard that rf might come and take some more pics . but i will let everyine know . Mines not off the road by choice! I managed to destroy the thread for the ball stud so im waiting for it to be repaired. Theres nothing worse then having 2 cars but neither work. I might be rolling again by the end of the week so ill do the rounds and get the interest up. Theres a fella near mine doing his 100e up which might be ready in time, and one of the people who MOT's our buses has a classic capri.

Duke3s Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 My legs are a bit wrong mate - they have had me in a few times to try and fix it (3rd time now). They basically have a rummage around and try and put it right. Takes a few weeks to recover and im not allowed to lift anything or do anything too strenuious - like an emergency stop till they say so. The Capri is suffering though - bloody batttery has gone!

Duke3s Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 no mate im at home - i was only in hospital for 2 days at the end of Jan, got used to it, the foods ace! Im alright, just cant really do much. Just been told to keep going on walks and build up the mileage each day - most exercise ive had in a year! It's very kind of you Ken to offer to take my car for gentle drive but i think i'll leave it tucked up safe and sound, your a funny barsteward! Hows the new project coming?
