Krusty Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Newbie here and hoping that I can get some of your enthusiasm to rub of on me after a bit of a slump over the winter. I've got a MkII More door Escort which I've had for about 18 months now, It was Dodgy Doughnuts (another forum member) daily drive up until I wrecked my MkIII Capri. But has now undergone a transformation into a fast road car/trackday toy. the current spec includes: Multi coloured red/grey/beige bodywork, 2.1 Pinto, Grp2 Head, Newman PH4.5 Cam, Weber 45s, Sixpoint cage, Fixed Corbeaus, Four points, Type 9, 2.25 Billies, Gaz rear adjustables...Ect Ect I did the last Retro Ford trackday Nov'07 and I'm all booked up for the next one in March. By then I'll have the car back from the body shop, where it's currently getting a full respray. I'd would like to have painted the car myself, as I'have done all the other work on the car, but I don't have the space or time.
