mk1super Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Do you rest your hand on the top? Or grip it like you mean to do the biz? Maybe clasp it sideways for control, or use smooth movement to slide it where you want it to go???? Iam talking about how you hold your gear knob when your driving ??????
old skool freestyler Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 got to be the most random question ever
Trevmk3 Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 sometimes i cup it between the middles fingers, sometime i have an aggressive grab of it, and sometimes i just stroke it around (so to speak)

Muttley MK2 Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 I have a genuine 8 ball knob so I tend to keep my hands off and look admiringly at it.............sad git
bigglesmk2 Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 First thing in the morning i give my knob a little wiggle.
bronze4door Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 really agressively throw it in (gear i mean)
MexDan Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Being Straight (cut) my lever tends to vibrate a fair amount and you need to be quite agsressive with it... but once its in boy does it go... been making a few odd sounds recently so think i'm gonna need to lube it up
mk2_escort_chick Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Kinda worried about replying to this thread, ah well what the hell! I rest my hand on top, only taking hold when i need to change gear
Twinkle Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 on the cortina i sort of get a goos grip and stir it till it clunks
Pipster007 Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Both hands on the wheel with hands at 10 to 3 'cos I was taught to drive properly
surfingturnip Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Both hands on the wheel with hands at 10 to 3 'cos I was taught to drive properly did they not get around to telling you about the stick thing in the middle of the car that makes it stop making the screaming sound?
Pipster007 Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Both hands on the wheel with hands at 10 to 3 'cos I was taught to drive properly did they not get around to telling you about the stick thing in the middle of the car that makes it stop making the screaming sound? The Police keep telling me, "If you take your hand off the wheel, then it's driving with undue care and attention"
