Me and my mate went today to view a bike that was supposed to be for sale ( 07 Honda Cbr1000 Fireblade in repsol colours) The bike was "Advertised" on a local bike site/forum and the fella selling told my mate to "come take a look" Of course my mate took the 6500 asking price with him, and off we set.

When we got there had a nosey round bike ( Was mint and deffo worth the asking price ) My mate says "So 6500 for her yeah?" while thumbing the money, guy says "well yeah but she isnt for sale was just seeing intrest" So why fookin advertise it in the for sale section you wally????

Ive had that done to me with 2 bikes and 1 car and my heart sunk for him right then.

Personelly i'd have happily knocked his bake in, my mate was disgusted, says supposing he never owns a bike he aint buying that 1 now.

Putting an ad up and saying it's not for sale right now is one thing, but saying come and take a look , just to waste your time and then say not selling is taking the fooking piss!!!

 

I'm sure I would of felt obliged to throw him a few choice words, the knobber
