it can depend on what internet security your running. We had the same problem with a brand new dell laptop. It turned out to be partly that it was running Mcafee security and only had 256 ram of memory. Do you know what memory size yours has?

Vista is crap. We use it at work. If you don't shut down every night and just suspend, it becomes very unstable and you have to reboot anyway!

My advice, buy a Mac
