No, not grandad stylee footwear, slip diffs.

Hopefully im building a 105e axle up. I need a good slipper though.

What sort of region am i looking to pay for a decent diff? Id prefer to be as cheap as possible but of course you get what you pay for. Are Quaife ATB's any good? Ive heard good and bad about them.

Another thing, how much do they affect your handling? I know welders can cause bad understeer, but will a slipper do this? Also, will it induce massive oversteer randomly? I mean yeah, sideways is all well and good but i want my car to grip like the proverbial shit to a blanket, and to go sideways when i say, not to be snatchy or unpredictable.

i have a plate LSD in the terracotta terror and at slow speeds under cornering you can feel and hear it locking and unlocking but it doesnt make it a bastard to drive.

Not really tested it at high speeds but it does grip well and ive found with mine that if you want to go sideways you have to give it death and the back end WILL KICK OUT!

i am still using a 1.3 though

definately worth fitting one  would recommend it to anyone. ui dont know why i spent so long arseing around over weather to get one. best thign i ever did

im doing the same thing....should, i shouldn't!

Now ive got a nice bit of power on the go i think i shud look to invest!

Health and Safety could be my excuse! :D

Personally i would be looking at Tran-X as ive been told they drive better on the roads. Open to advice though!!

I love my welded diff, should have done it years ago. Okay so it's abit cluncky on full lock at parking speeds but other than that you don't know it's there when driving normally. When I turn the wick up it just gets better, good drive out of bends without spinning all the power away and predictable over steer on the limit. Maybe a tad of understeer when I'm not giving it 100%, but thats easily delt with, just come off the power for a sec then give it the beans again, sorted. :D

Forgot to mention, Top Class Doughnuts too
