ive just brought his mk1 and yes it does have volvo caliper's on it,im picking it up at week end so il have a good old chin wag with him flash and find out the score, but im sure the one's fitted to this are 4 pot caliper's with 2.8i disc's and billy strut's

yeh volvo 4 pots, but i dont think there much better than the normal calipers, the only improvement would be is if the volvo calipers use a larger pad surface area than the capri?

the piston surface area is pretty much the same so no extra force biting the discs as such..

was it jon who was trying to fit these? correct me if im wrong but the holes didnt line up correctly?

i would think for the time and effort its easier just to use willwood, ap, hi-spec etc

Yes it was me, Ive got piccies somewhere as well to show you.

They dont fit, but if you dont mind actually elongating the holes by a couple of mm they will bolt straight on.

I could'nt comment on how good they are because I binned the idea and got the Caprisport 260 kit, because as has been mentioned the disc area is no greater, whereas the 260 kit is.

Ive still got the calipers if anyone wants them, IMO if they offer even a slight improvement over standard then thats something.

Ello ladies, tinternets been down.

Yup they're 4pots of a 240 and yup I had to bung them on the mill to elongate the holes slightly.

But they're all good
