Fiesta Steve Posted April 14, 2008 Author Report Posted April 14, 2008 Took it back for a re-test today, it passed at 0.32% Thats the lowest its been for the last three mot's atleast. Goes to show what a bit of basic servicing can do, plus unblocking the carbs of foreign bodys . Thats what you get for not having air filters I haven't driven it for 6 months, I over wintered in more modern plastic, its good to be back out in an Old Skool Ford Just taxed it online and now its ready for the summer shows and meets
fezza Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Nice one Steve Now all you need to do is sort the black one.................... then the white one
kevmk2 Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Thats good, i wouldn't leave it running that weak though, if your flat out for a period of time in top gear you could melt a piston Around 2% is good

I'm not sure, you may be right. Last year it was 1.2% and its always at 6k in top for long periods of time
