Hello folks. Yes I've been away for a while now. Sadly it is due to my Mum, who died two weeks ago. She suffered a massive stroke on the 8th April and died on the 19th. I was with Mum along with my oldest brother, youngest sister and her fiancee at the time.

We all had time to say our farewells and I know she can say she was proud of us all. I think she would even have been proud of our arrangements for her funeral. In true Irish style we carried her in and out of the church (my sister too, which was a 1st as no one has ever seen a female carry a coffin before) and backfilling the grave, which surprisingly brought laughter and happiness to the proceedings. :D Mum always said she loved a good funeral and she certainly put the FUN into her FUNERAL.:lol: Needless to say we drank to her good health until the early hours :beer::beer: I heard someone say that it 04.00 when we finished :pissed:

We now have my youngest's sister's wedding to look forward to in July, which is something to keep all of us focused. I for one, have been unable to think about what has happened, as we have been too busy with arrangements. I'm sure it will dawn on me of what has happened in a couple of weeks time.

I have let the mods and admin know and kept them updated, but at the mo, I just don't feel like sitting at a keyboard. I've kind of lost interest in a lot of things, but I am spending even more time with my brothers and sisters and their families, which is where we are gaining our strengths.

See you all soon
