Pipster007 Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 I could be interested, trouble is, I ain't got old skool at the min Don't let that stop you from going. Many of us with OS motors sometimes turn up to events without them
mk2 matt Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 yeah so, whats the place to meet then, someone make a decision, and then we will go from there
whitey Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 hey , i live in exeter a weekend meet up would deffo be cool.
Mrp Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 The angle box is awaiting paint but im not afraid to turn up in me ricer! Im near Dartmouth. I guess Exeter is not a bad spot middle ground realy if you take from Cornwall up to Brizzle.....
mk2 matt Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 exeter works for me. old man said he was up for it said he would drag his 2000 out tha garage and bring it along
groomers Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 been thinkin bout place to meet, cat and fiddle? its near m5 so easy to get to and car parks fair size!
escortmad79 Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Can't go Cat & Fiddle It's owned by an Exeter City FC fan & their training ground is across the road!
deltamal Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 Yep, i'm up for a local meet, Plymouth area would be good for me but have wheels, will travel!
deltamal Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 Just seen the Beer Engine post, looks ok to me, good run on a weekend, and it's got a real ale takeaway!
groomers Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 only problem with beer engine is it can be a bugger to find if you dont know area and car parks are a bit on the small size. how about hungry fox in broadclyst? spoke to sister and she recons the car park'll take 50 to 100 cars so should be big enough!
Admin Vista Posted November 19, 2006 Admin Report Posted November 19, 2006 Right then folks, Me and Ratters have been talking and we have decided that we want try and get a regular meet going on in the South West. I've had a look and there seems to be a lot of us down here! So, if you're interested in this then let us know. We'll then work out a neutrol Pub and go from there. So, lets not have the South East having all the fun. The South West is just as good....and sunnier! Chris So Chris seems like you have quite a lot of interest, where do you fancy?

Stu_B Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 Whoo hoo! theres a group of guys that meet in bridgwater on a thursday - think one of em's on here! try and get them involved!
boy_lard100 Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 im baised in exeter and there are some pretty good pubs, the hungry fox is ok but the car park aint that big 30-40 cars max, cat and fiddle would be a good bet but like u said not the best place for some of the not so ecfc fans, could go boathouse in dawlish warren, 2 huge car parks (with gravel area ), beach, have a laugh, good food. just throwing sujjestions around.
Richierich Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 yep, south west meet would be a plan!! would need to take a loan out to get to all those south east meets!! if 'someone' would fit their propshaft might have a couple cars to cruise with!!
Stu_B Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 yep, south west meet would be a plan!! would need to take a loan out to get to all those south east meets!! if 'someone' would fit their propshaft might have a couple cars to cruise with!! That'd be me then !! Sort out your sig Richie!

mk2 matt Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 well i think the best place to do it would be the out skirts of exeter, some where off the m5 so its easy to find and get to, so if anyone likes the idea of exeter ...think of a place lol matt
