You'll get 3 points and a fine (if it's got film in it) or if it suddenly catches fire you won't !!!!!!!!!!

i didnt think they actually existed!!!

do they havce them on pedestrian crossings i never stop 4 them if theres no1 crssing

not usually mate, they have them at roundabouts that are controlled by lights quite abit

were they red b4 you crossed the line or they changed to red after you went over the line ?

they take 2 pictures one for when you go over the line and a 2nd has you have gone through the lights

so they have proof that you ran a light.....if they changed when you had gone past the line i would have thought you will have a good case against the 3 points and fine

but expect a NOP coming through the door within the next 14 days or is it 28 days

If you get a ticket let me know m8. Heres how it works in Ireland u get your ticket in the post and say your mate from England who was over for the weekend was driving the car. Since they cant prove who was in it and you included his UK driving licence number which they never check. All you get is the fine and NO POINTS. Might work over there too.

I don't recommend that over here at all. There are documented cases where they have checked and people have had enormous fines for that. They ended up being charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice a significantly more serious charge than jumping a red light or doing 36 in a 30.

They have changed the rules here I heard. Now, if you can't prove who was driving the registered keeper gets fined anyway.

thats right mate.if we get caught speeding or doing anything we should'nt & they can't prove who it is then the Mananging director gets the points & fine as he is the owner of the vehicles  good enough for him :ykt: Have'nt tried it yet though

thats not good either :( my sat nav took me through the center of london in july last year, ended up with two £50 fines for driving in the red zone (or whatever they call it) 1 for going in and 1 for going out  i didn't see any warning signs and sat nav didn't warn me either

I can't see that working. What if the managing director doesn't have a licence?
