Its a liquid copper/bronze type colour and I have only ever seen 1 car in that colour.

A mate reckons 2 lads who write answers to readers questions (or used to anyway) in Classic Ford mag have a MK1 in the colour I'm lookin for???

Pics would really help.

Right.

In Clasic Ford there are only a few contributors to the problem pages.

One of these is 2 lads who run a garage. Maybe old ford auto services. They have a car in the colour I am after??

If it is, then it's sienna metallic. A Du-Point paint, that you could get on 79> Triumphs. A very rarely ordered colour i believe, but i'm no expert so don't take my word for it.
