ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Glad to hear you've got it back. It's just a shame to cnuts set fire to it
FredTransit Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Glad you got it back, be careful with the insurance. Do not let them 'store' the car, keep it yourself if you can. Do not accept the first offer, and if it's written off (likely) don't let them record it less than cat D.
Admin Vista Posted May 3, 2008 Admin Report Posted May 3, 2008 I know Pauls car and with the value of Mk1 Capris being what it is, personally I can't see them writing it off. Glad you found it mate, good luck with the insurance company.
FredTransit Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Just a friendly warning, nothing personal about his car. Insurance companies can be devious and like to take your money but don't like giving it back!
davidglanza Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 glad you got it back dude... King scumbags cant leave nothing alone..........
Burns Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 glad you've got it back, must have been gutting when it got nicked

X-pack-Glyn Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Do you HAVE to use insurance to do this mate? all it does is push everyones premiums up and yours more so, if it was me i would honestly use S/H parts, prob about 100 quid id say, if you claim you will prob find your premiums go up by that much anyway. glad you got it back though, havent heard of a capri being taken for a long while now.
livewire7116 Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Whats point of having insurance if not going to use it for a genuine claim, now you have started the wheels moving it will go against you anyway so follow it thru and dont worry about what others say,

Exactly, that's what I was talking about. No such thing as a free repair.
