antz Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 right....my dads got serious wheel rub on his escort and somethign is fooked up. heres one problem. when he measues the inner wing to the wing edge on the OSF he gets 13 and 3/4 inches...on the NSF he gets 14 and 1/4...1/2 inch difference the near side has noticebaly more curve to the wing. WHAT THE FUDGE IS HAPPENING HERE: please help him as he is getting really pissed off now and wishes he never bought it
bortaf Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 one of the wings patten? either that or it was squashed in storage
antz Posted May 5, 2008 Author Report Posted May 5, 2008 we thought one might be an RS wing but i thought RS wings only had a bit of wheel arch flare not a whole curve in the wing either way the passenger side has an extra 1/2 more than the driver side
LEONMEX Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 are they metal or fibre flass?? has it had wing rails on before??
antz Posted May 5, 2008 Author Report Posted May 5, 2008 metal and i dont think its had wing rails on before the wings are definately a different shape. its not the lining up cos its spot on everywhere.
Rick Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 whoever fitted them had probably had to 'make' them fit if something was out of line. has it ever had a front ender tyhat you know of, have a measure in the engine bay from various points diagonally and see whats goin on my dad taught me that when you buy a car first thing you do is look at all the panel gaps, if theyre all over the place then somet is up
antz Posted May 5, 2008 Author Report Posted May 5, 2008 dont think its had ever hd a front ender. its had 2 new wings and a front panel on it for defiante but thats all we can see. fooking cars

richyc Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 the passenger side looks right, the drivers side looks like it could be just pushed in.
