I have a couple of questions for you as you are the OSF Exterminator :wink:

Firstly, are there any differences between a Wasp's nest and a Bee's nest?

Secondly, is there any way of stopping them raiding my shed? I mean it's a full on assault and it makes my skin crawl (seriously), I hate Wasp's.

There was a small nest attatched to my shed roof which I have taken out, but there have been 3 seriously massive Wasp's raiding my shed within about 5 minutes... needless to say, they are no longer with us :twisted: De-Icer works a treat.

What is it that is so lovely about my shed? How can I stop this? Are there any tricks of the trade? Please Mr. Ratman, please... HELP ME :sad:

mmmmh its waspy time 8)

the small nest you wiped out is a Queens over winter nest and the big mothers you De-iced are young Queens :wink: (love your method :shock: ) They can be nasty bitches :mrgreen::mrgreen:

sheds,garages,lofts etc are there favourite nest sites and there is NO way you will ever stop them

and the only trick of the trade is dont be scared of them and get stuck in :arnie:

it also helps to have a 5lt sprayer pumped up and ready and a wasp suit :mrgreen::mrgreen:

Paint your shed in old engine oil, EP90 especially. That stuff really hums! Bung up any holes you can find and generally try to make the place as un-wasp-friendly as possible.

Now that's a real toughie :think::think:

Right, having asked the audience and phoned a friend I'm gonna go with: wasps live in a wasps nest and bees live in a bees nest :mrgreen:

I use Halfraud’s brake and clutch spray cleaner on anything that buzzes within 5 feet of me.

Works a treat kills everything and with the straw attached it’s got some good range. :D:thumbsup:
