i think the multi leafs had 4 springs...but then they are prob worn...have a look and see if the clamp that goes around them all is starting to Prise apart....thats what happened to my old ones....and it used to sit very low

2.8i springs are stiffer then 2.0 springs ..

im sure someone will be along to correct me but i THINK

2.8i capri springs are 190lb

2.0 capri springs are 130/140 ?

i had 145lb springs on my capri and they were quite good

front springs from rally design are only £13.90 each, get some new ones then you know what you got.(crossflow170ib or pinto 220's. :D

i would agree with richyc for a road going car with those spring poundages m8  dont think there be far out with that

in my early capri days a mate gave me some 190 lb 2.8 springs ,so off to my mates i went

some time later we finished putting them in,i then went in for some nosh[car still on axle stands],later came out ,it was dark as we let the car down and i set of for home........ i couldnt see a ruddy thing as my capri was a 4speed 2.0 and the suspension was at full travel all the way home!

what a prat i felt no one said" ah yes but you need 2 or 3 " lower springs"
