my engine has now clocked up 150 mile and you can feel the difference it revs a lot better now and seems to be gaining power.

 

how long do i leave it before i oil change and re-adjust everything?

If it were me, I'd give it a good thrashing for another 50 miles, then do the oil, filter an' all the rest of it.

i was old 500 miles. change the oil and give it death

Drive it nicley until you have done 500 miles mate, then drop the oil and change your filter

Advised 500 miles on the engine I got from Specialised Engines. Thankfully the trip home from their place was 300 miles so that and a bit of running around for a couple of days took care of it.

do 500 mate then check ur compressions 2 see if there all bout the same if there not then the rings in the ones with low compression havn't bedded in yet they should of by then tho

on bikes they do first oil n filter at 60 miles then 500. Theres millions of different opinions on how to run in engines, sum say fast some say slow sum say a mixture.

 

All i'd say is make sure you use standard mineral oil till its got a a thousand miles or so on it no matter how many changes you've done as if you use part of fully synth too soon the engine will never run in n smoke like a sailor
