32evo Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Thinking of getting a good usable mk1 GT, what sort of price would you expect to pay for one?
mk1super Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Donno if this is much help but seen a mk2 1600 gt 2 door series 1 in like a metalic greeny bronze colour for sale at just under 3k. So id maybe hazard a guess an say a mk1 would be more I could be talking out the hole of me aRSe though
Chris! Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 resto projects are about £1500 motd tatty GTs will be £2500 up
mk14dr Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Anything less than a 'G' is gonna be grotty (or your a lucky bu66er ) But for something to jump in and drive (without worrying) you've got to be paying +2k D
32evo Posted May 16, 2008 Author Report Posted May 16, 2008 Thanks for the info guys, i have the chance of a decent one for £3k.
Vista Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I know that I wouldn't pay what this dealer wants for a Lotus equipped 4 door GT. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but all the genuine Lotus Tinas were 2 door right? http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... x_mileage=
Gonzo Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 As with twink Escies, I do believe I've heard talk of genuine factory 4-door Lotus 'tinas. Very, very few though. I wouldn't quote me on that.
GT_Jim Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 a couple were made apparently but they are as available as rocking horse poo the one on ebay isnt one of them unfortunatly
JAY PS Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I have seen good ones around £4k+ anything under £3k will be a wreck unless your lucky
MK2Ed Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Thanks for the info guys, i have the chance of a decent one for £3k. I'd pay £3k for a proper decent one... And good choice BTW...
