What would you pay for a decent mk1 Cortina 4 door GT?

Thinking of getting a good usable mk1 GT, what sort of price would you expect to pay for one?

Donno if this is much help but seen a mk2 1600 gt 2 door series 1 in like a metalic greeny bronze colour for sale at just under 3k. So id maybe hazard a guess an say a mk1 would be more I could be talking out the hole of me aRSe though

Anything less than a 'G' is gonna be grotty (or your a lucky bu66er ) But for something to jump in and drive (without worrying) you've got to be paying +2k

I know that I wouldn't pay what this dealer wants for a Lotus equipped 4 door GT. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but all the genuine Lotus Tinas were 2 door right?

As with twink Escies, I do believe I've heard talk of genuine factory 4-door Lotus 'tinas. Very, very few though. I wouldn't quote me on that.

a couple were made apparently but they are as available as rocking horse poo the one on ebay isnt one of them unfortunatly

I have seen good ones around £4k+ anything under £3k will be a wreck unless your lucky
