They're cool, my mate had one as a field bike (although it took us about a week to get working and ran for all of 10 minutes before getting wrecked  ) and I had the engine from one in a go-kart!

You want something drop proof to smoke around on, sod what folks say! You go for it. Thing is also sooner or later your gonna drop it, far better to drop that, than some nifty 125 you have paid through the nose for eh?

They are cheap, go forever, are a piece of cake to maintain and cheap to run, and nobody pinches em, and beleve it or not there dead easy to mod

Go for it mate i wish you all the best and do take care as car drivers never seem to see bikes :lol::lol:

i can agree with that, my mate just got knocked off his bike, he was very lucky to be alive, he flew 14 feet through the air and landed on his head, even more lucky, he didnt break anythin

Honda 90's rock... FACT!

A mate of mine had one some years ago, and when I was a medical courier I was very tempted to get one myself. Totally bombproof, ultra reliable, good fun and excellent spares availability. Nothing else compares really.

Also another point worth making, if people take the piss, it's only because their jealous and they have to walk. I think if I was a bit more normal. I wouldn't get any stick if I owned one, instead I own 2 Yamaha SA-50 Passola's & a BSA Ariel 3 :mrgreen:

they are so fookin cool, wear an open faced helmet on it so you can look like Wallace from Wallace and Grommet :lol::lol: .

me and some friends messed about with one years ago and launched it off the top of a quarry. the engine still ran after although the frame and stuff was a bit of a state :lol:

get one

Honda C90, the preferred mode of transport of many a Thai nightfighter....

"Me love you looongggg time white boy" as they wiz past you at 40mph

A few hundred thousand far eastern prossies can't be wrong mate, go for it. Though having owned one myself, a Honda Monkey bike is way cooler and a lot more old skool.

a c90 is a very cheap bike to run and it will see you through the 2 years

i do suggest that no matter what bike you have ... that you wear a high vis jacket as car drivers DO NOT see bikers

I'm afraid it doesn't at the moment mate. I have got a new piston to fit, then a nice clean and paint up :D

Here you go Sam. Unfortunatley I don't have any better digital photo's of the Red one. This was my first scooter, but it is in bits for a rebuild at the mo. It will be getting a modern Yamaha 50cc engine with performance upgrades... that should upset a few chavs with their Typhoons and Speedfights

The Green one has only done 600 miles from new and I won it on eBay for £35 it still has it's original tax disc. I just need to match up some paint to do the little scratches on it. It's a rare colour too for an SA-50.
