help needed, what shall i do???

i want to take my granada to CF, we leave on sat morning, now the problem i have is the tax runs out end of this month. what can i do, i dont want to buy another tax disk and waste a month

My tax runs out at the end of this month as well and I've just re-newed it via the DVLA website and the new tax starts on the 1st of June.

I have no idea how you think you're going to lose a month.

if the car has been untaxed for a period of time u wont get a tax disc till the last day of the month ready to start the next day been there done that had that argument with the p/o wait till p/o opens sat morning get tax disc then come to cf but be in the middle of a pack of cars so u cant be followed by the old bill

You could have re-newed your tax from as early as the 15th of May and your new tax disc would still have started on the 1st of June.

if you leave saturday, the cars taxed...chances of been caught on a sunday (when the post office is shut)

Just do it monday, ive done that for the last 4 years on double figures of cars, you have a few days le-way i believe.

I don't understand why you thought you would miss a month's tax, have you never bought tax either late in the month for the next, or early in the month for the same month? I do this when I want to get the tax ans test to separate The PO has to date the tax to the beginning of the month you buy it in at the earliest.
