mk3cokebottle Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 drink alot of cranberry juice mate , make sure u steer well clear of salty and hot foods , caffeine and anything acidic ...... cos it will smart even more i suffered from it bad when i had a stent in for kidney stones bud very uncomfortable , if you nip to the chemist piriton helps quite a bit
FredTransit Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 "So ive got thrush then... fookin brilliant" Could be worse feller, could have been a buzzard John. now that was a picture i didn't need in my head!! Seriously, would Caneston help Glynn? It's a women's treatment for Thrush you can get over the counter, can't see why it wouldn't help men. The combined Ceneston is a tablet to take with a cream to rub on that stops the itching. As already mentioned cranberry juice is helpful too.
sambo Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Lol, Glyn, it where are you sticking your piece mate!??? It seems you always have winky probs!! P.S ~ sounds like thrush though! Carefull in the shower mate cos it stings like a biatch
caprinerd Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 drink alot of cranberry juice mate thought that was for water infections
X-pack-Glyn Posted June 9, 2008 Author Report Posted June 9, 2008 Right, a quick update... i got some cream and rubbed it on a few days back and all seems to be well for now.
sab6024 Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 drink alot of cranberry juice mate thought that was for water infections Yeh for a mo I thought they were treating Cystitis
Toby Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 Right, a quick update... i got some cream and rubbed it on a few days back and all seems to be well for now. That's good - did you have to apply it with speed and gusto!!??
MK5 Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 natural yoghurt is good too eat it, and apply it to infected areas.... the bacteria in the yoghurt kill the yeast in the thrush...
Toby Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 natural yoghurt is good too eat it, and apply it to infected areas.... ... In that order!! I don't fancy the other order either!!
