sambo Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I went to town with the missus yesterday to get her a new contract phone. Now, i have been with virgin on Pay as u go for ages and never have probs, as i use only around 10-15 quid a month. The guy in Phones 4 u tempted me into getting a new phone for £22 a month and i thought why the fook not as i get annoyed having to top up all the time. Anyway, the phone signal at home is non existant and i simply want to cancel it. Does any one know where i stand? is there a cooling off period. The network it is with is Orange. Cheers all, any advise will be appreciated.
omj624p Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I'm with O2 and they have a 30 days cooling off period. I think all the others are the same. Steve
sambo Posted June 16, 2008 Author Report Posted June 16, 2008 Cool, so i can just hand the phone back and say no thanks and forget about it. I just know what some of these companies are like.
mrs mk1mexico Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 i cancelled my first contract with orange after a week, and they just cancelled it there and then. i think it is about 30 days for the cooling off period for orange too.
Slammed Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 just stay with pay as you go. much easier for people like me!
mk2_escort_chick Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 o2 online sims-thats what u want Pay as u go, but lots of benefits
mk2_escort_chick Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I've never been a fan of orange, o2 girl through and through The lads at work are with orange and get fook all reception, whereas mines always full
Pipster007 Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 I'm sure it's a 14 days cooling off period with Orange. I've just signed up for a new contract with them, as I was pay as you go. They've given it to me for £22 a month, instead of £35 because I've been p,a,y,g for so many yrs. I get unlimited calls to landlines, 700 free mins to mobs, and 100 texts plus a Nokia N95 8gb phone
sab6024 Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 I've just signed up with a new contract with Vodafone and the signal is crap everywhere I go on my calls for work The best signal I get down here is Three believe it or not, so I kept them on Pay as you Go
