2.1tony Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 I TURNED UP AT ASHTON MOBILE TODAY WITH THE TEA & BICCYS TO SEE V6COL BUILDING MY 2.1 TWIN CAM PINTO, THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THE PICTURES WITH YOU ALL THE CRANK ALL BALANCED & REGROUND LOWERED INTO THE BLOCK COL FITTING THE KARL SHMITT 2.8V6 PISTONS ALL 4 IN THE HEAD VALVE SIDE THE HEAD TOP SIDE NOTICE THE CAM CARRYING LOBES ARE ALL MACHINED OFF THE NEW TWIN CAM CARRIER READY TO HAVE THE CAMS & BUCKETS SET UP THE ROCKER COVER THE 44 IDFS I,LL PUT UP SOME MORE PICS WHEN ITS ASSEMBLED

What sort of BHP r u expecting ??? not too sure at the moment , the cams are not too lairy just sort of fast road i think , it,s been difficult getting info on the head set up cos although it,s in very good condition it,s quite old, 2 different people have given me different settings for valve clearance and timing so i,m still looking into that , either way we will get it rollin roaded and i,ll let you know

4parajon Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Its a long time since Ive seen a piccie of that type of the piper twin cam.... must be mid 80's at least, and they were expensive then!!! Does look very nice though, it's good to see something other than the norm I think
