Are they illegal then? lol .. dunno mate ... thought they were dodgy because it is a sharp pointy object that could cause damage to pedestrians if you decide to do a bit of pavement off-roading My mate keeps his timing strut on on his Escort all year round coz he "can't be arsed" to take it off. I've never asked him if he takes it off for MOTs
